what are the differences of simple past tense and present perfect tense?

kalo simple past tense digunakan jika ada keterangan kalimat lampau atau yg sudah dilakukan.
sedangkan present tense digunakan jika ada keterangan aktifitas yg akan dikerjakan atau yg sedang dikerjakan

Simple Past Tense:
- It is used to express finished events.
- It is used to express finished events in someone's life. (if the person is dead)
- It is used to express finished events. There is no result in the present.
- It is used with finished time words (yesterday, last week, in 2000, etc)

Present Perfect Tense:
- It is used to express unfinished events that started in the past and continue to the present.
- It is used to express finished events in someone's life (if the person is still alive - life experience)
- It is used to express finished events that happened in the past and the impact of the event is now continuing.
- It is used with unfinished time words (this week, today, this year, etc)
